1. Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small, simple file that is sent along with the pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or other device. The information stored in them may be returned to the relevant servers during a subsequent visit.

Our website www.sero-distribution.com (also referred to as the "Site") uses only necessary cookies. This is to ensure that certain parts of the Site function properly. By placing functional cookies, we make it easier for you to visit our website. We may place these cookies without your consent. You can disable the use of cookies using your browser, but please be aware that our website may no longer function properly.

In this case, the technical storage or access is strictly necessary in order to enable the use of a specific service that the website visitor has expressly requested or only for the purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication via an electronic communications network.

2. Use of our contact form on the website

You can send us your email, name and any query or message via our contact form located on the website www.sero-distribution.com. We process this data in order to respond to your suggestions and questions. These are communications that you yourself have requested, where the legal basis for this processing is the negotiation of a contract. We will keep the data from the contact form for as long as is necessary to deal with your suggestion or query, but no longer than one year. Only authorised persons on our side have access to the communication sent in this way. We do not pass on personal data obtained in this way to any third parties, unless we are required to do so by law.

3. Sending communications via the WhatsApp icon

We also use an add-on on the website - the WhatsApp app icon, which can be accessed by tapping on this icon. Before contacting us via WhatsApp, please read the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. Here you will learn about the scope and purposes of processing by the provider of this service, which is WhatsApp Ireland Limited and over which we have no control. You can easily find the current version of this policy by typing WhatsApp Privacy Policy into your browser. Only authorised persons on our side have access to the content of the communication sent in this way and we do not pass it on to any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

4. Conclusion of a contract for the purchase of recovered paper

If you are a natural person - an entrepreneur - and you negotiate with us to conclude a contract for the purchase of waste paper, or subsequently conclude a contract with us for the purchase of waste paper, we will process your identification data (name, surname, company name, company registration number, VAT number, registered office) in this context, contact details (delivery address, telephone, e-mail), the type and quantity of material sold, as well as subsequently the bank account number (for the purpose of payment of the purchase price), information on the individual deliveries made (time of individual deliveries of material, total volume of deliveries made, etc. ), as well as data from mutual communication. We will process the aforementioned data for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling the contract for the purchase of waste paper for a maximum period of time. Without the provision of these data, the conclusion and subsequent performance of the contract could not take place. The legal basis for this processing of personal data is thus the conclusion and performance of the contract.

If you are a statutory body or an authorised employee representing a legal entity that has entered into a contract with us for the purchase of waste paper, we will process your name, surname and function (or job title and the data specified in any power of attorney if you represent the legal entity on the basis of a power of attorney) in this context. The legal basis for this processing of personal data is our legitimate interest in the conclusion and performance of a contract with the person you represent.

We are obliged to continue processing your personal data in accordance with the Accounting Act for a period of five years from the end of the accounting period, or for ten years from the end of the tax period in accordance with tax regulations (Value Added Tax Act). The legal basis for this processing of personal data (and its main purpose) is the fulfilment of statutory obligations.

5. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data

You have the following rights in relation to the processing of personal data:

5.1 Right of access

In particular, you have the right to know what data we process, for what purpose, for how long, where we obtain your personal data, or what your related rights are. You have learned all this in this document. However, if you are not sure which personal data we process about you, you can ask us to confirm whether or not the personal data concerning you is processed by us and, if so, you have the right to access this personal data.

5.2 Right to rectification and completion

You may ask us to correct inaccurate data relating to you. You also have the right to provide us with additional personal data if it is needed.

5.3 Right to erasure

You have the right to have us delete personal data that is no longer needed for the original purposes, etc. If you believe that we are processing any of your personal data unlawfully, you can contact us to request the erasure of your personal data. We may not delete your personal data, for example, if we need it to establish, exercise or defend our legal claims or if we are required by law to process such data.

5.4 Right to withdraw consent to processing

In the event that we process your personal data on the basis of your consent to processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing of personal data that we process on a legal basis other than consent.

5.5 Right to restriction of processing

At your request, we will restrict the processing of personal data if:

- you consider that the data we process about you is inaccurate. We will then restrict such processing until we have verified the accuracy of the personal data;

- the processing is unlawful but you refuse to erase the personal data and instead request that we restrict its use;

- we no longer need the personal data for our purposes but you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;

- you have objected to the processing on personal grounds (i.e. for reasons arising from your particular situation) which we would rely on our legitimate interest. We are then obliged to restrict such processing of personal data until it is verified that our legitimate interest outweighs your personal reasons (i.e. reasons arising from your particular situation).

5.6 What does it mean that I have the right to object?

If, in a particular case, the processing of personal data would be necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interest, you may object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Unless we can demonstrate that our legitimate interest in the particular processing outweighs your interests or rights and freedoms, we will stop such processing. In the event of an objection to direct marketing, we will always terminate such processing.

5.7 Right to portability

You have the right to data portability. If the processing is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right under Article 20 of the GDPR to obtain from us the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. However, the request cannot be granted if the exercise of this right would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of third parties or would be prevented by other serious obstacles.

5.8 Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, www.uoou.cz.

6. Questions about the processing of personal data

If you have any questions regarding the processing of personal data by SERO distribution s.r.o., please send us a message to office@sero-distribution.com or send a letter to SERO distribution s.r.o., Nové sady 988/2, Staré Brno, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic.
